I am major in Management Science and Engineering. My interests lie in agent-based modeling, collective intelligence, knowledge diffusion, and cooperation evolution.
I am interested in modeling social behavior. I have been working in the field of labor economics and industrial relations and how micro-simulations determine aggregate outcomes.
At present, I am full professor in Management at Sorbonne Paris Nord University. Also, I am the Editor-in-Chief of the European Review of Service Economics and Management. Over the past, I have been assistant professor in Economics at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China (2013-2017) and associate professor in economics at the University of Lille, France (2017-2023).
I am interested in using agent based modelling and systematic data collection to understand diachronic human-environment interactions in the Maya region of Guatemala, Mexico, and Belize.
Hello,
My name is Roberto and I am a graduate student at The Pennsylvania State University. I am in the “Information Sciences - Cybersecurity and Information Assurance program”, through which I discovered my interest in ABM. I am conducting my capstone research project on how to make ABM more effective in the disaster recovery planning process of IT companies. I am currently looking for interview candidates to conduct my research. If you or anyone you know have experience using ABM for disaster recovery planning in IT or tech, please reach out!
I learned about ABM through the Intelligent Agents course at Penn State, where we modeled everything from terrorist attacks to social relationships. I was immediately interested in ABM due to the potential and capabilities that it provides in so many areas. I hope to make ABM more popular in IT disaster recovery planning through my research, while learning more about ABM myself.

My research interests include statistical mechanics, chaos theory and complex systems. I am also interested in simulations of social and economical systems.
I am currently completing a PhD on information sharing for natural resources management. Research is based on case studies on oyster farming, in the Thau Basin, France and in New South Wales, Australia
I am a full professor at the College of Economics and Management, Huazhong Agricultural University, and the Executive Dean of the Digital Agriculture Research Institute.
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computational Social Science (CSS) program at George Mason (GMU). I hold a MAIS from GMU and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania. My research interests are the application of ABMs, network analysis, and machine learning to financial markets. My email address and website is moldham@gmu.edu and www.aussiecas.com
