The Rutgers Center for Green Building (rcgb.rutgers.edu) seeks a postdoctoral fellow with interests and experience in computer simulation modeling, especially using agent-based modeling approaches. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to take part in developing models of the interactions between building systems and building occupants, producing associated peer reviewed publications, and contributing to the management and execution of the Center’s current projects. Funding comes from the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Green Building Council. Location is in the New York City metro area at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. This is a one-year appointment that may be extended by one additional year. Salary will be competitive. Start date is September 1, 2010 or earlier. The postdoc will be expected to hold a PhD by the date of hire in computer science, industrial engineering, operations research, systems analysis, or a related field.
