The research related to this position will focus on political analysis using big data and other computational social science methods, and will be carried out in close collaboration between Department of Political Science and the Centre for Data Intensive Sciences and Applications (DISA). The doctoral student will conduct research projects that are consistent with the research focus of the Department of Political Science and the DISA centre: party politics, political behavior, public opinion, political representation and parliamentary studies, public ethics and corruption, and environmental policy.
The position is funded for four years.
