Postdoc: Health Economics and Computational Modelling of Vaccination


Applicants should have significant practical experience for conducting cost-effectiveness, analyzing data and simulation results, and performing statistical inference. The successful candidate will have excellent English language communication skills (both written and verbal). Previous experience working in an interdisciplinary research environment, and writing scientific articles, would be an asset. The candidate will be responsible for summarising outcomes of the projects for publications in the form of scientific articles.
Applicants must be within 4 years of having completed their PhD in a field that is relevant to the research project (e.g., computational epidemiology, health economics, applied mathematics or computer science, disease modelling and simulations).

The initial appointment will be for one year beginning September 2017 or soon after (but no later than November 1, 2017). Extension of the appointment for the second year is possible, but subject to satisfactory performance during the first year. The salary will be commensurate with the experience of the candidate in the range of $38,000 to $45,000 CDN (including benefits).
