The James Hutton Institute is an international research centre based in Scotland, focusing on the key global challenges, of climate change and food and environmental security.
Collaborating with colleagues within the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (http://www.cusp.ac.uk/), this is an exciting three-year Research Fellowship to expand our activities in sustainability science, with particular focus on investigating ways to implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs) in Scotland and globally. The position comes with generous start-up costs, and the Fellow would be considered for a tenured position subject to successful progress.

You will have a PhD in an appropriate subject and a demonstrable record of publication in scientific journals and winning research income.
