AVAILABLE POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITION NETWORK MODELING OF HOUSEHOLD SOLAR ENERGY ADOPTION UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA
Dr. Adam Henry, Assistant Professor in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona, will be hiring a postdoctoral research associate to work on a project funded by the Department of Energy to apply computational, agent-based network models to understand the adoption of residential solar energy in major U.S. solar markets. Applicants should be comfortable working with network modeling and/or agent-based modeling in the social sciences, and should have interests in household solar energy adoption or environmental behavior in general. Applicants may be drawn from any field, but should have well-articulated interests in the application of computational tools to understanding problems of sustainable development.
The timing of the initial appointment is flexible, and may begin in Fall or Winter 2013. Appointment may be renewed past May 2014 conditional on excellent performance and continued funding.
