Aim

Generaly speaking the social computing may be defined as some computational support in the field of social research and human social dynamics, as well as the development and usage of information and communication technologies which have important social or political context. Social computing has recently became a hot topic in a number of fields related to information and communication technologies, and attracted considerable interest not only researchers in computing, social and political sciences, but also of specialists dealing with software developers of social networks, providers of online games, web entrepreneurs, practical politicians, and psychologists. However, despite its importance, this line of research has not received proper development and recognition in Russia. So conference organizers hope very much that it will contribute to the emergence of sustained interest to different problems of social computing among Russian researchers engaged in various relevant fields.

First International Conference Social Computing: Fundamentals, Development Technologies, Social and Humanities Effects (IISC-12) is a forum bringing together researchers and practitioners from all countries, disciplines, and applications to exchange ideas, results and methods in various areas of social computing. Moreover, IISC-12 will also pay essential attention to encourage students and young scientists particularly from Russia to be widely involved in research of various scientific and practical issues within the scope of this conference.

Scope
The topics to be covered in IISC-12 are as follows:
• Fundamentals of social computing
• Social computing and new technological platform for social interaction
